Supernatural question regarding the brothers
HEAVY SPOILERS for season 8?
As much as I am really loving Disney dvd box set season so far, I can't help feeling sad that the relationship between the brothers is getting more and more distant as it goes along.
What Sons of Anarchy box set with Deans' natural resentment towards Sam and now, Sams' understanble feelings towards Deans' friendship with a Benny, I suspect it is going to go even furthur downhill. Although he was "under the influence" I am pretty sure Deans' relavations hasn't exactly helped matters...
My two questions are this.(How I Met Your Mother box set)
1) Do you think that Sam really did not look for Dean?
During Deans' questioning, he says to Sam "you did look for me?" Sam does not answer. While that could have been out of shame, could Supernatural box set also have been because he did look but, for some reason we are not seeing what actions Sam took yet? Or am I just reading into it too much? It does seem wildly out of character though.
2) Do you believe that at some point an event will occur which will bring them "back together" and restore their former "closeness" or, do you think that just too much has happened now. After all they have been through so much and, common sense tells me that their relationship would have tchange and develop.
As far as the brothers becoming close again...I have the utmost faith that it will happen. That is the reason for the big bang theory box set show from the start. The monsters have always been secondary to the brothers. Yes, a lot has happened and there have been times when I thought the chasm could not be bridged, but I have faith in the boys. They have to find a way to get over all the past and remember that they are family and there isn't much family left. It is the "family business" after all.
I am going to keep watching, even though sometimes I am really not happy with the way things are going, because I know the writers know what the fans want and they have to find a way to give us our boys back!!
